BookMyGuru uses YouTube API Services. By connecting your YouTube account, you agree to be bound by the applicable YouTube Terms of Service. You may revoke BookMyGuru’s access to your YouTube data at any time via your Google account security settings.

Google Business Profile

If you connect a Google Business Profile, we may access:

• Profile name
• Location details

This enables local business visibility, booking integration, and performance insights.

Audio & Video Calls

• The BookMyGuru platform facilitates one-on-one audio and video calls between users and experts.
• By using our services, you explicitly consent to grant the necessary permissions to access your microphone and camera for communication purposes.
• We do not record, store, or share any audio or video conversations unless explicitly stated and agreed upon by both parties. Device Access Permissions
• Our app requires access to the device’s microphone and camera to facilitate communication between users and experts.
• Users will be prompted to allow access before initiating any calls.
• Denying these permissions may prevent users from using the full functionality of the app.

Derivative Data

Information our servers automatically collect when you access the Site, such as your IP address, your browser type, your operating system, your access times, and the pages you have viewed directly before and after accessing the Site.

Financial Data

Financial information, such as data related to your payment method (e.g., valid credit card number, card brand, expiration date) that we may collect when you purchase, order, return, exchange, or request information about our services from the Site.

We do not sell this information. We do not use it for unrelated advertising purposes. Data is processed only to provide the services you explicitly enable.
You may disconnect your social media accounts at any time through your BookMyGuru account settings. Upon disconnection, we will cease further access to new data from that platform.

Derivative Data

App Icon & Branding

• The BookMyGuru app icon was originally designed by our company BookMyGuru and we hold full ownership of the design.
• It does not contain any copyrighted, trademarked, or third-party material, and it is uniquely designed for our brand.

Images, Graphics, and Visual Content

• Custom-designed by our team (Fully Owned).
• Used with explicit permission from the original creator or sourced from licensed providers.
• Certain stock images may be used under appropriate licenses from free stock image providers such as Unsplash, Pixels, etc.

App Content (Text, Articles, Descriptions, etc.)

• All text, written content, and descriptions within the app and website are originally created by BookMyGuru and do not infringe upon any third-party rights.
• We do not use any copyrighted material without proper authorization.

10. Google Calendar Data Usage

BookMyGuru offers Gurus (experts and coaches) the ability to connect their Google Calendar to automatically manage their availability and schedule sessions with learners. This feature uses the Google Calendar API and is fully compliant with Google’s API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Purpose of Access

When you connect your Google Calendar, BookMyGuru accesses your calendar solely to:

• Read your free/busy schedule to display available time slots within the platform.
• Create, update, or cancel events related to sessions booked through BookMyGuru.
• Send calendar invitations to you and your learners with relevant session details.

Data Access and Storage

BookMyGuru does not view, store, or share the details or contents of your personal calendar events, attendees, or meeting notes. OAuth tokens required for connectivity are encrypted and stored securely to maintain authorized access. You may revoke access at any time through your Google Account settings at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Data Sharing and Use

The calendar data accessed is used only for managing your appointments and ensuring accurate availability on the platform. BookMyGuru does not sell, rent, or disclose your Google Calendar data to any third parties.

Revocation of Access

You can disconnect your Google Calendar integration anytime within your BookMyGuru account or directly from your Google Account permissions page.
